If you read my last blog, you'll know that I recently gave into some temptation that made me fall in my walk with Jesus. I’ve since repented, and been forgiven, but afterwards, I still felt the guilt. It does go away after a while, but sometimes I need to be reminded that I don’t have to live in that guilt anymore. I am free in Christ, just as you are! So here are a list of scriptures to help remind you that God is always ready to bring you Home, and back to Him. Because once your are free, you are free INDEED!

Psalm 51:10 (NKJV) "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me."

Proverbs 24:16 "For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again...."

Isaiah 43:1, 18-19, 25: "But now, thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you be your name; you are Mine....Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 "Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."

Ephesians 2:1, 4-5, 6, 10; 4:22-24 :"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins....But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)....For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God...For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus of good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them....That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness...."

Philippians 1:6, 4:8-9: "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ....Finally bretheren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

Colossians 2:10, 13-15: "And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.....And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumscision of your flesh, He has made alive togehter with Him, having forgien you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, whihc was contrary to us. And He has takne it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He madde a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."

James 4:7-10: "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mour and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Resisting temptation is a discipline that must be practiced daily. Constantly pray to God and ask Him to guide you, and lead you out of temptation. You have to continually be in God’s presence to keep your mind off your sins. Eventually, time will pass and you will find that you haven’t even thought about it! Keep pursuing God, and pray the Blood of Jesus over you and your household daily…hourly! When you continually seek the Lord and His kingdom, you will find Him, and everything you need will be given to you. Keep praying!

Isaiah 55:6: "Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near."

Happy Studying!
